RE: New Notice of Intent to Sue EPA
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has recently received a notice of intent to sue (NOI) that may be of interest to you. The NOI alleges that EPA has failed to take final action on multiple elements of State Implementation Plans – 6 SIP elements for the 2008 8-hour ozone NAAQS for the Western Nevada County nonattainment area; 2 SIP elements for the Riverside County (Coachella Valley) nonattainment area; and 1 SIP element for the 2008 8-hour ozone NAAQS for the Denver Metro/North Front Range nonattainment area. This information is provided for your information only, and this notice does not require you to take any action.
